Rubberising

Rubberising a 4x4 — applying a rubberized coating to trays, wheel arches, bumpers, underbody or other panels — adds a flexible, impact-absorbing layer that protects metal and paint from stone chips, scrapes, moisture and corrosion. It also deadens road noise and vibration, cushions and secures gear (reducing rattles), provides a non-slip surface for boots or cargo, and resists oils, chemicals and easy-to-clean mud. Because the coating is pliable and touch-up friendly, it’s ideal for rough use: it prolongs the life of exposed parts, lowers maintenance, and helps preserve resale value — basically practical, low-fuss protection for a vehicle that spends time off-road.
